Airdrop Binance JEX — knowledge base
Binance has completed the acquisition of JEX, a crypto-asset trading platform offering spot and derivatives trading services. As part of the acquisition JEX has been rebranded into Binance JEX and will operate as an independent team within the Binance ecosystem.
Binance is airdropping a total of 200,000,000 JEX to BNB holders. Hold a minimum of 10 BNB in your Binance wallet to receive your share of airdrop tokens. They will also conduct a monthly airdrop in which 30% of the profit generated by Binance JEX will be airdropped to BNB holders.
Step-by-Step:
- Create an account at Binance.
- Hold a minimum of 10 BNB starting from 2019/09/06 0:00 AM (UTC) to 2019/10/06 0:00 AM (UTC) in your Binance wallet.
- Binance will record all users lowest BNB balance each day and calculate a total BNB holding ratio for each user at the end of the total holding period.
- The rewards each user will receive depends on the total JEX tokens to be distributed * user BNB holdings ratio.
- Binance will also conduct a monthly airdrop starting from 2019/10/06 in which 30% of the profit generated by Binance JEX will be airdropped to BNB holders. The distribution of this airdrop will be calculated by recording the lowest BNB balance in all user accounts each day from 0:00 AM (UTC) on the 6th day of the month to 0:00 AM (UTC) on the 6th day of the next month and calculating a total BNB holding ratio for each user at the end of each month.
- Distributions will be completed within 2 weeks of each holding period.

Binance is the Chinese cryptocurrency exchange. As of March 2018, it is the largest one by the transaction volume per day. The CEO and founder of the Binance exchange is Changpeng Zhao. After the prohibition of Chinese authorities against the cryptocurrency operations, it changed its jurisdiction and now, the offices are located in Hong Kong and Tokyo. In March 2018, it faced a massive hacker attack, which was not successful.
